Building a Solid Foundation.
Buckhead Preparatory School is organized into two divisions: the Primary School and the Elementary School.
Primary School
- Serves our youngest learners, beginning at age 2 through age 5.
Elementary School
- Serves students in grades K through 5.
While there are key differences in how our students are taught in each division, some principles remain steadfast throughout. At Buckhead Prep, we:
- Honor Childhood: we offer a shortened school day, ample outdoor and play time, and limit homework to only what's essential.
- Focus on the Fundamentals: we are laser-focused on what matters in a child's early education. We have streamlined our curricular offering to prioritize foundational academic skills, like reading and writing, and building knowledge.
This approach has proven to prepare students for their next steps. Our Primary program boasts a 90% placement rate into top-choice Kindergartens. Our Elementary program is still expanding and, after graduating our first 5th grade class into their top-choice schools, further proves that we get students (and families) where they want to go.
